Rockland Sheriff's Officer Arrests Spring Valley Man On DWI Charge

NEW CITY, N.Y. -- An officer from the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Spring Valley resident on a charge of driving while intoxicated, authorities said.

A patrol officer observed a motor vehicle on Route 59 in Nanuet being driven in an erratic manner on Friday, according to officials.

The driver, identified as Mark McGibbon, 40, was found to be intoxicated and arrested, police report.

McGibbon was processed at the sheriff's headquarters in New City and released on summonses to return to Clarkstown Justice Court, according to police.
