Zoey Needs A Home, Say Hi-Tor Animal Shelter Volunteers

CLARKSTOWN, N.Y. -- Zoey may look like a big, strong pit bull, but she is really just a “big mush,” say volunteers at the Hi Tor Animal Care Center, according to the Clarkstown Police Department's Twitter feed.

Zoey, a pit bull/American bulldog mix, is looking for a home with older children, say volunteers at the Hi Tor Animal Care Center.

The pit/American bulldog mix is 4 years old and came to the shelter as a stray, they said.

She gets along with other dogs, but has not been “tested” with cats and would probably do best in a home with older kids, volunteers said.

Zoey is available for adoption at the shelter, 65 Firemen’s Memorial Drive in Pomona.

To inquire about Zoey and other dogs or cats, call 845-354-7900.

The shelter is closed Wednesdays. Every other day of the week, it is open from noon-5 p.m.
