Television Crews Filming Near Rockland Lake

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N. Y. -- Television filming is underway around Rockland Lake in Valley Cottage, according to the Clarkstown Police Department.

Filming started Tuesday in Clarkstown for several action television scenes.

Police posted on social media to alert the community to the television filming. Action driving scenes, simulated gunfire and robbery are just some footage crews are busy filming around the south end of Rockland Lake, police said.

Motorists in the area should expect occasional road closures, police said. Officers are assisting film crews to help with traffic and overall safety.
