The chemical, a byproduct of the chlorination process, exceeds federal standards but does not pose a health risk, county health officials told lohud.com.

The meeting on drinking water regulations and testing is set for 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 11, at the Allison-Parris County Office Building, legislative chambers, 11 New Hempstead Road, New City, the lohud.com report said.
