The script book, basically a screenplay for the upcoming London play, is set for release at midnight Saturday, July 30. Unlike in years passed where kids (and kids at heart) lined up for hours dressed in costume to dive into the Hogwarts world, there's not a lot going on in Rockland this time around.

Jack Dunnigan, owner of Nyack's beloved Pickwick Book Shop, said his decision to not plan anything special was a conscious decision. "There's just not the same magic to it," he told Daily Voice. "The other books were so memorable; this one isn't even really a book. No one's asking for it... though I will have it available on Sunday."

The latest installment in the series was co-written by J.K. Rowling, Dramatist Jack Thorne and Director John Tiffany, as a two-part play to be performed in London’s West End on July 30. It revisits the characters 19 years after the last book ended.

Barnes & Noble locations at the Palisades Center and Nanuet are where you can find the magic. Both are hosting a "Countdown to Midnight" party on Saturday, July 30 starting at 8 p.m.The party will feature a special Muggle Wall where customers can share their favorite memories of Harry Potter as well as feature giveaways and activities.

Customers can also enter the Harry Potter Limited Edition Cover Prints Sweepstakes for a chance to win a set of seven Harry Potter Limited Edition Cover Prints. Go HERE for more details.
