NEW CITY, N. Y. -- No injuries were reported from serious storms throughout the Hudson Valley on Monday night, but they caused downed trees and power outages, especially in New City where thousands of homes lost power, according to News 12.
Utility trucks were out Monday night making repairs after damaging storms hit New City and throughout the Hudson Valley.

In the meantime, there were reports of scattered outages in Westchester, downed power lines, and damage from downed trees, News 12 says.
