Forum On Police-Community Relations Held in West Nyack

WEST NYACK, N.Y. -- A forum on improving police-community relations was held at the Palisades Center in West Nyack on Thursday, Nov. 12.

Hosted by Rockland County District Attorney Tom Zugibe, the event brought together civic, youth, faith-based and law enforcement sectors to discuss ways to build trust and understanding between police and the area’s minority population.

Keynote speakers at the forum included New York State Police Superintendent Joseph D'Amico and Col. Rick Fuentes, superintendent of the New Jersey State Police. Opening remarks were offered by County Executive Ed Day.
