Shoppers Have More Time To 'Spread Love' At Shops of Nanuet

NANUET, N. Y. -- The Shops at Nanuet is staying open longer the weekend after Thanksgiving to kick off its "Spread Love" holiday shopping theme.

Also, the mall, part of the Simon shopping group, is planning extra festive hours on certain days throughout December. 

Black Friday hours will be 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Nov. 27 to kick off the season. Then, The Shops at Nanuet will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Nov. 28; and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 29.

Some of the special Black Friday features are a complimentary hot chocolate station (while supplies last) and live music from 2-4 p.m.

“This is one of the myriad of ways we are spreading love this season,” said Briana Puncar, director of marketing and business development for The Shops at Nanuet. 

Throughout the holiday season, other special events include Breakfast with Santa, Kettle Campaign with The Salvation Army, choral groups, Annual Holiday Tree lighting and a Menorah Lighting ceremony. 

In addition, People to People, Rockland County’s food pantry, will host its Giving Tree from Nov. 27 through Dec. 20. Shoppers can participate by picking tags, buying the gifts and returning them to volunteers at the People to People table. If volunteers aren't there, gifts can be brought to the mall management office.
