Community Comes Together For Saw Mill River Cleanup The Saw Mill River is flowing like never before, following an all-out effort by 300 volunteers on Earth Day weekend for Groundwork Hudson Valley’s Great Saw Mill River Cleanup.  Folks from all walks of life pitched in to pick up over 5,000 pounds of trash, including two dirt bikes, several mattresses and a multitude of car parts. Northern Westchester Complex Sells For $54M The Landing at Mohegan Lake has sold to Ginsburg Development for $54 million. The company announced the acquisition Tuesday of the 207-unit lakefront community, which features one and two-bedroom apartments. Ginsburg acquired the property from New Chalet Apartments. The apartments range in size from 712 to 1,215 square feet and rent from $1,860 to $2,595 per month. Ginsburg said it plans to modernize existing amenities and add more amenity space including a children’s playground, gazebo/BBQ area on the lake and lakeside clubhouse.
