Putnam County resident Michael Nardone, of Mahopac, died on Wednesday, June 15, at the age of 57, according to his obituary. Man Admits To Chappaqua Home Invasion After Following Victim From Store A 79-year-old man has admitted to acting as a getaway driver after he and a co-conspirator followed a woman home from a Westchester grocery store, pulled a gun on her and robbed her. Manhattan resident Philip Budin pleaded not guilty to second-degree attempted robbery, a violent felony, for his role in a burglary in Chappaqua last year. Woman Busted After Allegedly Stealing Clothes From Popular Westchester Store A woman was caught after allegedly stealing clothes from a popular Scarsdale clothing store and attempting to get away, police said. Members of the Scarsdale Police Department were dispatched to Mixology on Spencer Place on Friday afternoon, where there was a report of a robbery in progress.  An employee at the store stated that she saw a woman place clothes into a bag and walk out without paying.
