A student at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York has been accused of threatening to shoot, stab, and rape Jewish students at the Ivy League school.
Patrick Dai, a 21-year-old junior originally from Pittsford, New York, was arrested on Tuesday, Oct. 31 on a federal criminal complaint charging him with posting threats to kill or injure another using interstate communications, according to prosecutors in the Northern District of New York.

According to Cornell's COVID-19 dashboard, 276 new COVID-19 cases have been reported, bringing the total number of students to test positive for COVID-19 between Tuesday, Dec. 7, and Monday, Dec. 13, to 883.

Missing Cornell University Freshman Found Dead
The body of a missing 18-year-old Cornell University student has been recovered.
Antonio Tsialas, a freshman enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences, had not been seen or heard from since attending an on-campus event at the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity on Thursday night, Oct. 24. He was reported missing Friday, Oct. 25 after failing to meet up with a family member.
The body of Tsialas, of the Miami, Florida area, was found in Fall Creek by Ithaca Falls Saturday evening, Oct. 26, state police and the university announced.

John H. Galloway III, affectionately known in Scarsdale as “The Judge,” died on Aug. 3, 2018. Born on Aug. 29, 1939 in New York to Mary Phillips Galloway and John Henry Galloway Jr., John resided in the Scarsdale area for much of his life.
John attended Stepinac High School, Georgetown and Cornell Universities, and Fordham Law School.
