Fast-Moving Fire Rips Through Building In Chappaqua A fast-moving fire that heavily damaged a building is under investigation in Northern Westchester. The fire was discovered around 8:13 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 28, when the Chappaqua Fire Department was called to the area behind their firehouse for a reported garage fire, the department said. 12 Families Displaced In Two-Alarm Westchester Blaze That Causes Metro-North Delays Ten firefighters were injured and a dozen families displaced when a fire broke out that left two houses in Westchester destroyed and caused Metro-North delays. Crews were dispatched to 781 Warburton Ave. in Yonkers at approximately 8:40 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, when flames broke out in the first building affected, Deputy Fire Chief Daniel Flynn said.
