Zydeco Festival Salutes The Troops, Raises Hundreds For Veterans
WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- On Oct.18, Esplanade at Palisades, a senior living community, honored a few brave veterans by hosting a benefit concert to raise money for the Rockland-based Purple Heart honorees.
"Veterans should be recognized more than once a year, so we thought the Zydeco Festival was a perfect opportunity to get our residents excited, while also raising money for our troops," said Rosemarie Gutierrez, director of marketing at Esplanade at Palisades.
