Christina Coulter is an eager and tenacious reporter from Wilton, Connecticut. After attending Wilton High School, Christina graduated from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY, in 2017 with a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing. She was President of Marist's Literary Arts Society, which published academic journal "The Fox Forum" and creative magazine "The Mosaic."

Throughout her college career, Christina interned for and contributed to publications in the Northeast, including The Wilton Bulletin and The Millbrook Independent. In 2016, Christina was taken on as an intern by Ulster Publishing, and regularly contributed to the Kingston Times, the Woodstock Times, the New Paltz Times and the Saugerties Times. 

After her summer-long internship with Ulster Publishing came to an end, Christina became a freelancer for the company until she earned an undergraduate degree. Then, she assumed the role of lead reporter of the Saugerties Times, where she worked until the economic impact of COVID-19 halted the printing of the publication.

Teen Duo Nabbed For Stealing Over $1,300 In Items At Area Walmart, Police Say An 18-year-old and a 20-year-old were both charged with the felonies after they were caught leaving Walmart with $1,333.47 in merchandise that was unpaid for, police said.  Both Kendra Suazo of the Bronx and the unnamed minor were charged with fourth-degree grand larceny after the incident in Orange County on Tuesday, Dec. 22 in Monroe, according to New York State Police.  Both were released, police said, and will appear in the Town of Monroe Court in January.

Man Wanted For Stealing Two Televisions, Clothing From Long Island Walmart Police are searching for a man who allegedly stole two televisions and clothing from a Long Island Walmart.  The incident took place at the Walmart location on Crooked Hill Road in Commack at about 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 22.  Those who recognize the man or witnessed the incident are asked to contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers for a cash reward. NY State Police Donate Over 1,300 Toys To Area Children For Christmas New York State Police in Troop K, with the help of local businesses and the United States Marine Corps, has amassed 1,329 toys for donation to the Dutchess County Toys for Tots chapter.  Between Wednesday, Nov. 25 and Friday, Dec. 18, members of the community dropped off new, unwrapped toys at Troop K headquarters in Salt Point for donation. Then, area members of the Marine Corps picked up the donated presents for distribution to children in the area.  All 18 police stations in Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess and Columbia counties participated in the Toys for Tots program.
