CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- Katherine Chapin, a student at Horace Greeley High School, will be attending a three-day conference in Lowell, Mass., in June with other honors high school students from across the country as they explore the field of medicine.
During the conference, "The Congress of Future Medical Leaders," the students will have the opportunity to learn from Nobel laureates, National Medal of Science winners, and other experts in medical research.
Chapin, a junior at Greeley, is also a dancer and photographer. Throughout her high school years, she has been actively involved in Model UN, Relay for Life, Make-a-Wish, and regularly volunteers at Northern Westchester Hospital.
