Armed Robber Carjacks Victim In Scotia Neighborhood, Police Say Police are investigating an armed carjacking that occurred in a residential neighborhood in the region. The Schenectady County incident happened at around 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10, in the village of Scotia on Bruce Street. The victim told police the suspect came up behind him and threatened him with a gun. The suspect then forcibly stole his car before fleeing toward North Ballston Avenue. Burglar Breaks Into Glenmont Walmart, Steals Guns Police are searching for a suspect who broke into a Walmart in the Capitol District and stole multiple guns. The burglar in Albany County got in through the Glenmont store’s garden center at around 1:15 a.m. Tuesday, May 10, according to Bethlehem Police.
