Man Charged With Making Threat Of Violence Against School District In Region A 37-year-old man from the region was charged with making an alleged threat against a school district in the region. Sullivan County resident Steven Kelly, of Narrowsburg, was arrested on Friday, Feb. 2 for allegedly making threats against the Sullivan West School District in Jeffersonville.  According to Sullivan County Undersheriff Eric Chaboty, deputies received information shortly before 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 1, Kelly had made posts on social media expressing his dissatisfaction with the school district.  In his posts, he allegedly referred to a gun. Man With 33 Convictions Sentenced For Domestic Violence Attack In Region A Hudson Valley man has been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to aggravated family offense for attacking a person under a protective order. Dutchess County resident Lorenzo Jackson, age 59, of Poughkeepsie, was sentenced in Orange County to one-and-half to three years in prison for the November 2022 incident in New Windsor, said Orange County District Attorney David M. Man Accused Of Breaking Into Capital District Home, Breaking Windows A local man is facing charges for allegedly burglarizing a Columbia County home and breaking windows. New York State Police troopers were called to a home in Copake on Friday, July 1, after the victim returned home and saw that someone had broken in and damaged windows. Investigators determined that the culprit was Ancram resident Arnold Albright Jr., age 54, who had violated an order of protection, police said.
