Woman Found Dead At Albany Park Woman Found Dead At Albany Park
Woman Found Dead At Six Mile Waterworks Park In Albany Police are investigating after a woman was found dead at a park in the region. The discovery was made at around 7:15 a.m. Monday, Feb. 5, at Albany’s Six Mile Waterworks Park, located near the Northway and I-90. An Albany Police spokesperson told Daily Voice the woman’s death is not believed to be suspicious in nature. Her identity had not been released as of Monday afternoon. The incident is under investigation and an official cause of death will be determined by the Albany County Coroner’s Office. Check back to Daily Voice for updates.

‘To New Heights’: $60M Awarded For Albany Airport Fixes Including More Seating, 'Calming Room' Work is underway on a massive improvement project at Albany International Airport aimed at providing a better experience for travelers. Gov. Kathy Hochul was at the airport Thursday, Aug. 10, to announce the awarding of $60 million in state funds that will go toward modernizing entranceways, expanding the security area, and adding more seating and concessions areas, among other improvements.
