The Saratoga County incident happened Wednesday, Jan. 17, at a residence in the town of Halfmoon. Deputies were called shortly before 7 p.m. for a burglary in progress. By the time they arrived, the suspect had fled. Saratoga County resident Andrew Castle, age 50, of Mechanicville, was arrested Tuesday, Sept. 26, by New York State Police. According to troopers, the agency was first contacted on Friday, Aug. 25, about an RV that was missing from a Clifton Park dealership. The vehicle, valued at over $50,000, was later found in Schaghticoke in Rensselaer County. Investigators determined that Castle was in possession of it. Saratoga County Sheriff’s officials were called shortly after 9 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, with reports of a person struggling in the waters of Saratoga Lake, approximately a quarter mile north of Brown’s Beach in Stillwater.
