Beloved Mother Of 3 From Region Dies At Age 50 A Hudson Valley mother of three has died at the age of 50. Dutchess County resident Jennifer J. Strang-Thrasher, of Wassaic, died on Sunday, February 4, at Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie. Strang-Thrasher, born in Connecticut in the town of Sharon in Litchfield County, was a graduate of Dover High School and Dutchess Community College.  She was a direct care worker at Cardinal Hayes Home for Children in Millbrook, for 30 years, according to her obituary. Funeral Details Released For 5 NY Women Struck Dead On I-81 In PA (Update) Funeral details and a statement from the family have been released after five women returning from Umrah in Mecca, Saudi Arabia were killed on Interstate 81 on Tuesday evening, Jan. 16. The women "were on their way back home from the Dulles airport," their family told Daily Voice. They were struck dead by a tractor-trailer at the 199.3-mile marker in Scott Township, approximately 12 miles north of Scranton, troopers detailed in a release. Albany County resident Nicholas Camilli, age 24, of Loudonville, died Thursday, Oct. 26, in the two-car wreck on Old Niskayuna Road, according to Colonie Police. Investigators said Camilli was driving his motorcycle northbound on Old Niskayuna Road at around 7:20 p.m. when a car made a left turn in front of him near W. Cobble Hill Road. Czsar Lewis, of Albany, died on Sunday, Oct. 2, at the age of 24, according to his obituary. A cause of death was not given. Known by family and friends as “CJ,” Lewis was born on Dec. 29, 1997, to parents Connie Wiggins and Terry Lewis, his memorial said. Putnam County resident Ryan Daly, of Mahopac, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 11, according to his obituary. Daly was born in North Tarrytown, and he was a graduate of Mahopac High School with the class of 2012, his obituary said. He went on to earn a bachelor's degree at Savannah College of Art and Design.
