Guns, Drugs Trafficking Networks Busted In Region, 7 Arrested, AG Says Large gun trafficking and narcotics networks were busted and seven suspects were arrested during raids in the region. The networks and suspects were operating out of Dutchess County, mostly in the Poughkeepsie area, according to New York Attorney General Letitia James. The arrests were made on Wednesday, Feb. 14 throughout Dutchess County. 14-Year-Old Shot In Albany, Search On For Suspect A teenager is recovering after being shot in the region. Police in Albany were called just before 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5, for a shooting in the city’s Arbor Hill neighborhood, near Henry Johnson Boulevard and 3rd Street. When officers arrived, they found a 14-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to his leg. He was treated at the scene by medics and was taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Schenectady Police were called Tuesday, Aug. 9, and found the animal severely injured and unable to stand on her own. Animal Control officers removed the dog and brought her to the emergency vet, where she received critical, lifesaving treatment, police said.
