Driver Dies After Crashing Into Telephone Pole, Hitting Tree In Wellesley An SUV driver died Wednesday morning, Dec. 6, after slamming into a utility pole, uprooting it, and then hitting a tree in Wellesley in a single-vehicle crash, police said. Chelsea Building Fire Rule Suspicious; Reward Offered For Info Fire officials are offering a $5,000 reward for information as they investigate who sparked a three-alarm blaze in Suffolk County.  The fire happened at 43-45 Blossom St. in Chelsea on the evening of Nov. 8. “This fire had a very real chance of spreading to other buildings in a densely built residential neighborhood,” said Chelsea Fire Chief Leonard Albanese. The Chelsea Fire Department responded to heavy fire on the upper floors of the vacant building.
