A suspect has been apprehended in connection with a Westchester hit-run that left a 35-year-old woman dead, police announced. The arrest stemmed from an incident on Monday, April 8 just before 5 a.m., when a victim was struck on Buena Vista Avenue between Main Street and Dock Street in Yonkers, according to Yonkers Police. A 15-year-old boy was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle while crossing a road in Westchester. The crash happened on Thursday, March 7 just before 3 p.m., when a pedestrian was hit in the area of Yonkers Avenue and Dunwoodie Street in Yonkers, according to Yonkers Police Detective Sergeant Frank DiDomizio.
