A 21-year-old Northern Westchester man has been sentenced to six years in prison for causing the death of a friend while driving impaired, authorities said.
Anthony Lorenz, of Ossining, must serve a little over five years of the sentence before becoming eligible for parole, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina in New Jersey.
Lorenz pleaded guilty last month in Superior Court in Mount Holly, NJ, to charges of vehicular homicide, assault by auto, and driving while intoxicated, Coffina said on Thursday, May 26.

Sandra Feuerstein, US District Judge of the Eastern District of New York on Long Island, died Friday morning, April 9 after she was struck by a vehicle in Boca Raton, Florida, according to authorities.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as 23-year-old Nastasia Snape, of North Lauderdale, Florida, then struck a 6-year-old boy, according to the Sun-Sentinel of South Florida.

A 26-year-old man turned himself in to police in Westchester after being implicated in an alleged vehicular homicide.
Officers from the Mount Vernon Police Department responded to a report of two gunshot victims outside the Trusco Building Supplies building shortly after 10:45 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 1.
