Deputies arrested three drivers for DWI in Putnam County over the St. Patrick’s Day holiday weekend, authorities said.
The arrests took place in Southeast between Sunday, March 16, and Monday, March 17, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office announced on Wednesday, March 19.

Westchester Man Falls Asleep In Car, Wakes Up, Crashes Into Numerous Vehicles, Police Say
Aman who was allegedly asleep behind the wheel of his car on a roadway in the Hudson Valley woke up when police arrived, crashed into numerous vehicles, and attempted to flee, injuring several people.
The incident occurred in Rockland County in Spring Valley at 6:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 28.
According to Spring Valley Police Det. Matt Galli, an officer en route to another call for service, found Westchester County resident Nelson Torres, age 54, of Yonkers, asleep at the wheel on Route 59.

Man Rams Car, Threatens Driver In Westchester, Police Say
A Hudson Valley man is behind bars after allegedly ramming the rear of a vehicle and threatening the driver with an edged weapon following a road rage incident.
The incident took place in Westchester County around 2:25 p.m., Friday, July 21 on I-87 in the city of Yonkers.
According to Trooper Tara McCormick, an investigation determined that Ruben D. Luciano, age 48, of the village of Florida, in Orange County, rear-ended a vehicle following a road rage incident, in which he reportedly exited his vehicle and threatened the other driver with an edged weapon.

Hudson Valley Woman Hit With 31 Tickets After Fleeing Attempted Traffic Stop, Police Say
A Hudson Valley woman who allegedly refused to stop for state police was issued 31 traffic tickets including one for driving impaired.
The incident took place in Orange County in the hamlet of Deerpark, around 11:50 p.m. on Sunday, July 31.
According to state police, troopers spotted a 2020 Ford Mustang traveling on Peenpack Trail in Huguenot, in violation of several traffic laws, said Trooper Steven Nevel.
When troopers attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver, later identified as Orange County resident Brittaney Brush, age 29, of Huguenot, failed to stop, Nevel said.
