14-Year-Old Struck By Vehicle At Yonkers Intersection A 14-year-old boy was hospitalized after he was hit by a vehicle at a Westchester intersection.  The incident happened on Friday, May 3 just after 2:30 p.m., when a child was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Alder Street and Spruce Street in Yonkers, Detective Sergeant Frank DiDomizio said.  According to DiDomizio, an investigation determined that the boy ran out into traffic before being hit. Road Work Ahead: Busy Ramp In Westchester County To Close Commuters will soon have to plan ahead to avoid being impacted by a closed ramp on a busy Westchester County parkway.
