Westport Moving Scam Suspect Extradited To Connecticut From New York A lengthy investigation led to the arrest of a man that allegedly orchestrated an elaborate scheme to scam someone moving from Westport to California, who has been extradited to Connecticut to face charges. Hudson Valley Woman Charged With Stealing Clothes From Fairfield Merchant A Hudson Valley woman involved in a clothing theft scheme in Fairfield County turned herself in after a warrant was issued for her arrest, according to Westport Police. In October, a woman stole more than $300 in clothing from a downtown merchant. A second woman later entered the store and returned the stolen items and received a gift card for the items’ value.
