Following several lawsuits accusing him of sexual assault and other abuses, successful hip-hop producer and New York native Sean "Diddy" Combs now faces federal sex trafficking charges, officials announced.

An 18-year-old Bergen County woman is accused of stealing more than $49,000 in handbags and jewelry from her NYU roommate and then selling the items online, according to police and various news reports.
Kaitlyn Fung, of Old Tappan, was charged on Thursday, May 2 with grand larceny after confessing to taking a 19-year-old complainant's ring, bracelet, tote, enclave, and top, totaling about $49,000, the NYPD tells Daily Voice. Fung then sold the items online, the NYPD said.

A father in the Hudson Valley is facing charges after he failed to lock up a loaded gun which a toddler took and accidentally injured himself.
Robert Welgos, 45, was arraigned on Monday, June 22 on charges related to having an unsecured loaded firearm in his home that led to a toddler shooting himself.
It is alleged that on Thursday, June 11, Welgos' toddler took the loaded gun from an unlocked safe, discharged the weapon, and injured himself.

Woman Charged After Dog Bites Child At Home In Westchester, Police Say
A woman was arrested for failure to license her dog after the animal allegedly bit a child visiting her home in the area.
The incident was reported to Yorktown Police on Monday, Nov. 4, when an Amawalk resident came to the department to report that her daughter had been bitten by a dog while visiting the home of Christy Gooden, 32, said the Yorktown Police.
An investigation into the incident found that the dog was allegedly unlicensed at the time of the bite, police said.
