These Hudson Valley Housing Projects To Receive Portion Of $260M Fed, State Funding
More than a quarter billion dollars in federal and state funding will go toward addressing New York’s housing crisis. Over $260 million has been awarded to 29 housing developments across the state through tax credits and subsidies meant to create or preserve over 1,800 affordable and sustainable homes, Gov. Asylum Seekers Fight: New Emergency Order Issued By County Exec In Hudson Valley
A county government in the Hudson Valley has signed a new emergency order in response to New York City's efforts to send asylum seekers to the county. Rockland County Executive Ed Day enacted a new Emergency Order in response to what Day says is "the City of New York’s discriminatory program to establish unlawful city shelters in Rockland County." Amazon Now Reconsidering Plans To Open Second Headquarters In New York, Report Says
Amazon may be getting cold feet and be ready to backpedal out of its plan to build a new campus in New York City. In November, the online retailer announced that it has chosen two locations for its new HQ2 project, one in Long Island City, and a second in Virginia.
