Ex-Bronxville HS Baseball Standout Dies Of Opioid Overdose The Bronxville community is mourning the loss of a teenage college student who died as a result of an opioid overdose shortly before Christmas. Lifelong Bronxville resident Gage D. Bellitto, 19, was pronounced dead on Dec. 22 after an opioid overdose, according to a statement released by Columbia University, where he went to school, last week. A 2016 graduate of Bronxville High School and sophomore at Columbia, Bellitto was remembered as a prominent member of the high school’s varsity baseball team. The final U.S. citizen killed was Amanda Geissler, a trip leader of the Backroads Active Travel Company, said company spokeswoman Liz Einbinder.
