In doubles play the No. 3 duo of junior Antonia Conze (Willich, Germany) and freshman Kaja Tegtmeier (Oldenburg, Germany) secured an 8-1 victory against Hayley Craskey and Julia Bellon. The No. 1 duo of junior Costanza Mecchi (Rome, Italy) and sophomore Huai-Hsuan (Demi) Huang (Taipei, Taiwan) followed with an 8-3 win against Iman Williams-Mulesa and Lara Scholtze while the No. 2 duo of senior Linda Eliasson (Gothenburg, Sweden) and junior Stefanie Canals-Baker (Pollensa, Islas Baleares, Spain) claimed an 8-5 victory against Axe Owens and Laure-Anne Josso to give Concordia the 3-0 lead.
In singles action the Clippers would take a 6-1, 6-1 win in the No. 6 match as Tegtmeier defeated Bellon. With one match to go to clinch the championship, Mecchi would earn the clinching victory as her 6-4, 6-1 win against Josso in the No. 1 match would earn Concordia their seventh straight CACC Championship.
Following the match Mecchi, Eliasson, Huang, and Tegtmeier were named to the CACC All-Tournament team.
Concordia will wait until the spring to compete for a chance at a national title. Their spring schedule will be announced in the upcoming months on ConcordiaClippers.com.
