CALDWELL, N.J. -- The Concordia College Clippers women's basketball team trailed by double digit points early and was unable to complete a comeback Thursday in a 65-52 loss to Caldwell College in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference game.
Junior Krystina Agard led the Clippers with 17 points and added five rebounds, two steals, an assist and a block. Chanessa Blakemore scored 11 points and a team-high 12 rebounds for her seventh double-double of the season and added six steals, four blocks and two assists.
Down 14 points at halftime, the Clippers scored a quick five points to get within nine points of the lead. A scoreless drought over the next four minutes by Concordia allowed Caldwell to regain their double digit lead.
The Clippers (3-10, 2-4 CACC) will be back at home for their next game Saturday when they host Chestnut Hill College at 1 p.m. in the Meyer Athletic Center on the campus of Concordia College.
