The Concordia College mens golf team won its third consecutive match Sunday, getting the best of the Philadelphia University by a single stroke.
Concordias Sam Deitte of St. Louis, Mo. led the field of 15 golfers with a 3-over par 75. Eutimio Fernandez-Meade of Mexico City finished right behind Diette with a 77 to give the Clippers a one-two finish.
Jeffrey Schaller of Kingston, N.Y. and Kyle Grandilli of Port Colborne, Ontario, Canada both finished with solid rounds for Concordia with an 88 and a 93, respectively.
Concordia has participated in five events this fall, finishing first in its last three, improving overall as a team to prepare them for their spring portion of the schedule.
