BRONXVILLE, N.Y. - The Bronxville High School family is in the middle of its Homecoming Weekend celebration that began Wednesday with a welcome home parade and bonfire and continues through the weekend with several sports events.
Friday's school schedule has been adjusted to include a 2 p.m. pep rally for the students at Chambers Field, weather permitting, or indoors in the school gym.
The Broncos boys' soccer team is scheduled to host Irvington in a Friday night game under the lights at Bronxville High's all-sports turf field at 7:45 and the girls' swim team will host Pelham at Sarah Lawrence College's pool at 4:30 p.m. Friday in the first of five scheduled events. There wil be a community pep pally at halftime of the boys' soccer game.
Saturday's schedule begins with the Bronxville Youth Council Car Wash from at 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Bronxville Elementary School parking lot.
The Homecoming Day sports triple header begins with a girls' field hockey match between Bronxville and New Rochelle's Ursuline at 1:30 p.m. followed by girls' soccer against Kennedy Catholic at 3 p.m. The Broncos football team will host the rival Dobbs Ferry Eagles at 6 p.m. to cap off the evening.
Each of the sporting events will include the presentation of players and parents.
