Students in grades K through five used tutorials to learn coding and programming alongside their teachers, while middle school and high school students took part during their technology and computer science courses.
In addition, students had opportunities during lunch or other free periods to learn more about coding and programming.
The kids weren't the only ones who got involved in the lessons, though.
The school district also hosted a “Parent Hour of Code” event to help kick off the week.
