Eagles Rally Prepares for Victory

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. - The swim team were dancing, members of the volleyball team were playing dodgeball, members of the varsity football team were playing tug of war, and members of the Eastchester Board of Education stayed on the sidelines clapping and smiling at the homecoming pep rally held at the high school Friday night.

The bonfire was cancelled, but all of the teams got out on the dance floor to strut their stuff in a rousing display of school spirit.

The pep rally was a show of support for the Eastchester Eagles who will take on the Nyack Indians. This season, the Eagles are 2-3, so victory at homecoming would be sweet.

The Eastchester Eagle mascot, who refused to reveal his identity, predicted his team will be victorious.

The game starts at 1:30 on Saturday.
