Yummy treats at the Bronxville Schools Cupcake Cafe kicked off the 50th Annual weekend long celebration of Memorial Day.
Sponsored by the Bronxville Parent Teachers Association, mom Sarah Kraemer said money raised from the sale of the baked goodies will be used to fund school projects and events.
In addition to the Cupcake Cafe, the PTA is sponsoring a dog show, a pet adoption
fair and a community picnic among other events.
The festivites begin Satturday with the annual James Kearny Memorial Fun run.
The weekend is capped off by the 89th Annual Bronxville Memorial Day Parade, which
begins at 9 am on Monday and a carnival that will run from 10 am to 2 pm .
