BRONXVILLE, N.Y. - Phyllis Bonvino, formerly of Bronxville, died Feb. 6 in Naples, Fla. She was 93.
The daughter of the late William and Mary Nanti, she was born Nov. 14, 1918. She was married to Ralph Bonvino, who predeceased her. Bonvino spent many years volunteering at Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville before moving to The Carlisle retirement community in Naples.
She is survived by her son Frank W. (Margo) Bonvino of Naples, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister Mary Abruzzi.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at Yannantuono Burr Davis Sharpe Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon. The funeral mass will start at 10 a.m. on Friday at St. Joseph's Church in Bronxville, followed by interment at Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale.
