Brother Lawrence Alphonsus Killelea, 89, Of New Rochelle
NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Brother Lawrence Alphonsus Killelea, of New Rochelle, died on Monday, June 15. He was 89.
Killelea was born on Nov. 2, 1925, in New York City to Patrick and Delia Quirk Killelea.
He attended St. John's Elementary School, Power Memorial Academy, St. Joseph's Juniorate and Fordham University.
He entered the Congregation of Christian Brothers in 1944, and went on to serve as an educator in various schools across New York State.
He is survived by his niece, Eileen Cooper, nephew Kevin Killelea and sister-in-law, Peggy.

MAMARONECK, N.Y. – Mary Thomasina Martinelli, of Mamaroneck, died on Tuesday, June 16. She was 79.
Martinelli was born in Malvito, Italy on March 10, 1936, to Francesco and Angelina Amatuzzi, emigrating to New York with her family as a teenager and helping with the family landscaping business.
She is survived by her husband Amerigo "Ricky" Martinelli; two sons, Michael and his wife, Ann, and Joseph and his wife, Jennifer, four siblings, Ernesto and his wife, Lina, George and his wife, Anna Maria, Gigi and his wife, Vicky and Gulio Amatuzzi, and four grandchildren.

RYE BROOK, N.Y. Susan Romanello, a resident of Rye Brook, died on Wednesday, June 17. She was 61.
Romanello was born on April 11, 1954 to Joseph and Carmela Manette Romanello. She graduated from Port Chester High School, and worked for the Greff Company and the Kay Chester Dress Company in Port Chester.
She is survived by her partner Michael Caputo, Sr. and son Michael Caputo, Jr., both of Port Chester, brother Daniel J. Romanello, Sr. of Rye Brook and sister Jane Romanello and husband, Robert Romagnoli, of Norwalk, Conn.

OSSINING, N.Y. – G. Arthur Hornberger, of Ossining, died on Monday, June 15, at Somers Manor Nursing Home in Somers. He was 93.
Hornberger was born in Reading, Pa., on Feb. 14, 1922, to William and Bertha Hornberger. He attended Lebanon Valley High School in Lebanon, Pa.
He was a former resident of West Chester, Pa. and Stony Point, N.Y.
He had a long career as a musician, teacher, performer, composer and arranger, majoring in instrumental music education, performing with band, orchestra and dance band at West Chester State Teachers' College.

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. – John T. Bykowski, a lifelong resident of Port Chester, died Tuesday, June 16. He was 69.
Bykowski was born on Feb. 5, 1946 to John and Mary Witas Bykowski.
He graduated from Port Chester High School in 1964 and worked as a carpenter at the Electrolux Corporation in Old Greenwich, Conn., eventually going into business as a self-employed carpenter.

YONKERS, N.Y. – Thomas F. Keane, of Yonkers, died on Tuesday, June 16.
He was born to Thomas and Kathleen (Heafy) Keane in 1927.
Keane graduated from Fordham University, earned a masters degree from New York University and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

She was an active member of the Shrub Oak Methodist Church.
She is survived by her son, Alan, grandsons Charles (Melanie), Michael (Kelsey), great-granddaughters Lilly and Madeline and a sister Joan.

YONKERS, N.Y. – Vincent "Jimmy" Agostino, a longtime Yonkers resident, died on Tuesday, June 16. He was 88.
Agostino was born in Brooklyn on Sept. 26, 1926, to Antoinette and Joseph Agostino. He served in the military during World War II.
He is survived by his wife Anne, four children, Mary Ann Magaletta and her husband Frank, Jo Ellen Nugent and her husband William, and James (Anne) Agostino and his wife Anne, 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and his stepsister Nancy Tancredi.

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – David M. Fairchild, a longtime resident of Eastchester, died on Wednesday, June 17. He was 89.
Fairchild earned a doctorate in music from Columbia University, teaching music at Eastchester High School. He worked as a voice therapist after his teaching career ended.
