Josh Lanier started his reporting career in high school for his local newspaper. Many — many — years later, he’s still chasing leads for compelling stories. During his time writing for newspapers, magazines, and online publications, he’s covered everything from murderers to mommy bloggers, but his most interesting story is always the next one.

The popular Italian eatery chain announced it had filed for Chapter 11 this week and would close several underperforming locations, including restaurants in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland.  Like many other restaurant chains, Buca di Beppo said the business hadn't bounced back since the COVID-19 pandemic. Mass. Man Dies After Suffering Medical Emergency On NH Hike With Family A 52-year-old Topsfield man died after suffering a medical emergency while hiking in New Hampshire with his family, authorities said.  State Wildlife officials received a 911 call around 2:14 about a hiker having a medical emergency between the north and south peaks of the Kinsman Ridge Trail in Easton, New Hampshire. 50-Year-Old Mansfield Man ID'd As Victim In Fatal Wrentham Crash Police have identified the 50-year-old man who was killed in a Route 1 crash in Wrentham late last week.  Jose Ocasio, of Mansfield, was critically wounded when he made an abrupt U-turn in his 2014 Mercedes CLA from the center lane and was T-boned by a pick-up truck in the left lane, police said.  Firefighters had to cut Ocasio out of his sedan so paramedics could rush him to Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, where doctors pronounced him dead.
