Alert Issued For Wanted Westchester Man

An alert has been issued for a man who has been wanted by New York State Police in the Hudson Valley for more than a decade.

On June 26, 2006, Westchester resident Jaime Alvarez was stopped by New York State Police troopers on the New York State Thruway in Tarrytown for a vehicle and traffic violation. During the subsequent stop, it was determined that Alvarez was allegedly intoxicated, and he was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

A warrant for Alvarez’s arrest was later issued by the court after the failed to comply with the terms of his arrest.

Alvarez, 41, was described as 5-foot-5 weighing approximately 175 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone who recognizes him, or who has information regarding his whereabouts has been asked to contact New York State Police investigators in Tarrytown by calling (518) 436-2825 or emailing
