Earlier Report - 2 Found Dead In Yorktown Home The cats were found on Monday, Jan. 30 around 9:50 p.m. when police performed a welfare check on a residence in Yorktown Heights located on the 100 block of Cordial Road and found the bodies of a man and woman who had died. A $5,000 reward has been offered by PETA as they attempt to locate the culprit responsible for trapping a Chihuahua inside a tied-up garbage bag and put it in a sealed container in Westchester. Northern Westchester Woman Charged With Animal Cruelty After Discovery Of Emaciated Dog
A woman from the area was arrested for allegedly starving her dog for an extended period of time. The SPCA of Westchester announced on Wednesday, May 29 that an investigation launched by their Humane Law Enforcement Unit and the Yorktown Police Department led to the arrest of Michelle DiGennaro, 44, who was charged with animal cruelty.
