Good Samaritans Pull Woman Trapped Inside Overturned Car On Taconic Two Good Samaritans are being hailed as heroes after rushing to pull an unconscious woman who was trapped inside an overturned vehicle engulfed in flames on the Taconic State Parkway near the Northern Westchester/Putnam border on Thursday. The crash occurred around 3 a.m. near exit 14 (Baldwin Road) in Yorktown. Brian Geary, 30, of East Fishkill and another unknown passerby stopped to assist 56-year-old Linda Gironda prior to the arrival of emergency services.
