Fallen Trees, Power Lines Block Bus Routes In Northern Westchester School District An overnight storm that slammed the region with powerful wind gusts forced a Northern Westchester school district to implement a two-hour delay after buses were unable to reach some students. The Valhalla Union Free School District was forced to operate on a two-hour delay on Thursday, Feb. 29 as a result of downed trees and power lines that blocked several bus routes in the hamlet, officials announced.  The damage was caused by a powerful overnight storm on Wednesday night, Feb. 28 into Thursday that brought gusts as high as 59 miles per hour to Westchester.  Earlier Report -&n…
