Lane Closure Scheduled On I-684 In Bedford, North Salem

Motorists in Northern Westchester are being alerted of an upcoming lane closure that will affect Interstate 684 in two towns.

Southbound Interstate 684 between Exit 6 and Exit 8 in Bedford and North Salem will be reduced to one lane for a night, officials said.

Interstate 684 southbound will be reduced to two lanes between Exit 8 (Hardscrabble Road) in North Salem and Exit 6 (Route 35) in Bedford on Thursday, Oct. 5, the New York State Department of Transportation announced.

The reduction will last between 10 p.m. Thursday and 4 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 6, officials said.

The lane closure is to allow for bridge repairs.
