With fall just around the corner, Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts is gearing up for its third annual fall festival with a line-up that is sure to impress.
The New York Philharmonic and Alan Gilbert, music director, will launch the three-day festival on Sept. 23 at the outdoor Venetian Theatre performing Beethovens heroic Symphony No.3 and Schuberts Overture to Rosamunde. Called a gifted young violinist by the New York Times, Augustin Hadelich, a German violinist who has frequented the stages of the Frick Collection, Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center, Kioi Hall and the Louvre, will also play Mozarts last violin concerto at the event, which starts at 7:30 p.m.
The second day of the fall festival, Broadway star and singer, Kelli OHara, will present a solo concert with music from Always, her newest album on Sept. 24 at 8 p.m. at the Venetian Theatre. OHara began her career on Broadway in Jekyll and Hyde in 2000, and was nominated for three Tony Awards including: Clara Johnson in The Light in the Piazza; Babe Williams in the Roundabout Theatre Companys revival of The Pajama Game; and Nellie Forbush in the recent Lincoln Center Theater revival of South Pacific.
The Future is Now, the last event of the festival, features 13 young musicians from Caramoors mentoring program showcasing their musical talents and skills on Sept. 24 at 4 p.m. in the Rosen House Music Room. The mentoring program is designed to train and develop young vocalists and instrumentalists skills under the supervision of master artists.

Prices vary for each show with the New York Philharmonic tickets starting at $44.50 to $112.50, Kelli OHara tickets ranging from $16-$67, and the Future is Now tickets are being sold for $25.
