KATONAH, N.Y. Summer is coming to a close but that doesnt mean the festivities at Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts will shut down with it. The Caramoor Fall Festival will return for its third season and feature award winning performances throughout September.
Music Director Alan Gilbert and The New York Philharmonic will be taking the stage at the Venetian Theater on Sept. 23 with violinist Augustin Hadelich.
Hadelich is an accomplished violinist who has played in Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center, Kioi Hall, and the Louvre and has been awarded the 2009 Avery Fisher Grant, the 2006 International Violin Competition of Indianapolis gold medal and the 2011 Borletti-Buitoni Trust Fellowship.
On Saturday, September 24 singer and actress Kelli OHara will perform song from her album Always. OHara is a Tony Award-nominee who made her debut on Broadway more than a decade ago.
A showcase called The Future is now, highlighting young musicians in Caramoors mentoring program will finish the Caramoor Fall Festival on Sunday, Sept. 25 at 4 p.m.
Tickets are currently on sale and vary according to show.
Tickets for the the New York Philharmonic are on sale for $44.50, $61.50, $78.50, $95.50, $112.50, tickets for Kelli OHara are being sold for $16, $28, $41, $54, $67 and tickets for the final show of the Caramoor Fall Festival, The Future is Now, are being sold for $25.
