WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Several morning accidents caused delays on area roadways on Friday.
An accident on the Saw Mill River Parkway, reported at 7:30 a.m., occurred southbound between Croton Avenue (Exit 34) in Mount Kisco and Reader's Digest Road (Exit 33) in Chappaqua and led to stop-and-go traffic.
Further north, a serious multi-vehicle accident was reported on the Saw Mill River Parkway in Bedford Hills near Route 117 (Exit 39), resulting in the closure of a stretch of the northbound Saw Mill. The accident was reported at 7:45 a.m.
An accident on the Hutchinson River Parkway southbound at King Street/Route 120A (Exit 30) in Port Chester was reported at 7:45 a.m.
An overturned automobile was reported on eastbound I-84 between the Taconic State Parkway and Ludingtonville Road in Carmel.
An earlier accident was reported on the southbound Taconic State Parkway between Pudding Street and Peekskill Hollow Road, blocking one lane and resulting in stop-and-go traffic.
