KATONAH, N.Y. The Harvey School has invited area teenagers interested in theatrical performance to participate in its new teen theater program on Saturday mornings starting Sept. 22.
The 10-week program offers performing opportunities to young people ages 13 through 16.
Students will refine their acting skills and learn theater techniques through a series of theater games, exercises and classes, said Vinny Alexander, the private school's performing arts chair.
Alexander said the class will culminate in a fully staged show in The Harvey School's Lasdon Theater performed for young children in the community.
Classes and rehearsals will be held each Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at the school, 260 Jay St.
