Business Group Plans Facebook Talk In Mount Kisco

MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. — Local business owners interested in improving their online social-media marketing may want to check out "Supercharging Your Facebook Marketing" on July 20.

The free seminar is sponsored by the Northern Westchester Business Network, which comprises 22 businessmen and businesswomen in the area.

"While we are primarily a networking group, we have a strong culture of educating both our members and the local business community in all facets of networking, marketing and sales,” said Barry Malvin, the organization’s communications director.

The program will be run by expert social-media marketing advisor Ellen DePasquale, regional development director of Constant Contact, a company that helps small businesses and nonprofits with online marketing.

“I can almost guarantee that if you attend you will come away with a greater understanding of the power of marketing using Facebook business pages to deliver an organization’s message,” said Malvin, who works as a website developer.

This workshop is the third event the network has sponsored in Mount Kisco; the two previous workshops were “The Networking Value of Linkedin” and “The Power of E-mail Marketing.”

"Supercharging Your Facebook Marketing" will be held at the Mount Kisco Public Library at 8 a.m. Continental breakfast and registration begin at 7:30 a.m.
